I want to try something new to make for the family thats fast (less than an hour) and not too expensive. Our favorite things in a dish are rice and meat. We like any type of food. Mainly Puerto Rican foods. Any suggestions? If you can just give me the name, that will be fine. I can look up the recipe.Any good recipes that are fast to make?
2- Step Creamy Chicken %26amp; Pasta
Makes: 4 servings Total Time: 20 min
Ingredients:
鈥? Tablespoon vegetable oil
鈥? lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
鈥? can (10 oz.) Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
鈥?/2 cup water
鈥? boxes (8 oz. each) frozen vegetables pasta blend
Preparation Heat oil in skillet. Cook chicken until browned.
Add soup, water and pasta blend. Heat to a boil.
Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes, or until chicken is done
This is a great recipe I fixed it once before i left for work for my husband to eat (he works 3rd shift %26amp; I work 2nd shift so i'm not home in the evenings) and I added some shredded cheese to it to make it not so bland. but it's great and fast and easy ! i know it doesn't have any rice in it but I know I love it and I hope you will too. hope this helps!Any good recipes that are fast to make?
Texas Hash
1 lb ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped bell pepper (optional)
1 16 oz can tomatoes plus juice
1 c water
1 c rice (uncooked)
1 t chili powder
2 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
1/4 t garlic powder
1/2 c salsa
Brown ground beef with onion and pepper. Add seasonings. Add rest of ingredients. Pour into a covered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes. Stir a couple of times while baking.
This is great left over too.

easy things to make in less than an hour*-
pita bread pizzas
pita bread, put 2 tbsp . pasta sauce over it, grate cheese of your choice, diced ham or salami, green pepper(whatever pizza topping you want)
put pitas on bake sheet, put in preheated 425F oven, for 8-10min..till cheese melts...add a salad

easy Chilli*
in medium pot , fry ground beef, drain fat and add cooked meat back to pot
add one diced onion
add one can of red kidney beans (Drained and rinsed)
add one large can of diced tomatoes
add 2-3 tbsp. chilli powder
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 dashes of hot sauce if you want*(optional)
stir to combine
bring to boil
reduce heat to medium, put lid on pot, simmer for 45min* stirring occassionally*
in a small pot, make 5min white rice*
put some cooked white rice in a bowl, add chilli ontop, stir to combine*
have fresh loaf of bread on side if you want*
can put in sealed container and freeze if you want once cooled down before freezing~

slice into strips once cooked
make a salad, put on plate, add grilled/baked chicken strips on side~*

ALMONDIGAS (MEAT BALLS WITH RICE
VERMICELLI
1 cup minced pork (or beef)
1/2 cup ground shrimp (optional)
1 onion finely chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 cup misua (rice vermicelli)
2 gloves garlic
chicken (or shrimp) stock powder
chopped spring onions
salt and peppper to taste
To the pork and shrimp, add chopped onion, egg and seasoning. Shape into balls. Saute the garlic and onion and add the chicken stock powder wtih 3 cups of water and bring to boil. Drop the meat balls one by one into the stock. When cooked add misua (rice vermicelli) and season to taste. Serve hot.

a little bit of minced onion
put all the ingredients in food processor and process
serve with pita bread or chips
take rice mix with soya sauce fry up some stew beef add fried celery corn sometimes its very good
