Anyone have any healthy fun easy fast recipes?

eighter breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner.

anything that's healthy, that both I and the BF as well will eat.

We're moving out pretty soon, and we've decided no going out to eat, it's just so much cheaper to prepare your own meals.

so any ideas out there?

we're both in college, and have part time jobs, so we dont have a lot of time to spend in the kitchenAnyone have any healthy fun easy fast recipes?
You should get some strawberries, wash them and cut off the top. Get the REAL dark chocolate because it has antioxidants which are good for you. Melt the chocolate and just dip it in the chocolate and stick it in the fridge. it should get harder in the findge.

ONE OF THE BEST SNACKS EVER!

and healthy too!Anyone have any healthy fun easy fast recipes?
Me and my boyfriend like to make stir frys. You can make it with chicken breast, steak or shrimp. just toss it into a wok with onions, peppers, broccoli, carrots, ginger and garlic. Use sesame seed oil and soy sauce and serve it with white or brown rice. it's pretty quick and healthy.

Whole wheat pasta with vegetables is easy. saute the vegetables and make the pasta separate and then toss together. You can add olive oil and parm cheese too.

Tacos with lean meat then add avocado, tomatoes, green lettuce instead of iceberg, low fat cheddar cheese or anything you want.

I also make salads with alot of stuff in them like chicken breast, low fat cheese, beans etc. and just a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead of dressing.

Hope this helps.
Do you like mexican food? This is good and cheap! You need a can of biscuits (I like the layered ones), a small jar of salsa, 1 regular can of black beans, about a cup of mexican blend or monterey jack cheese, and sour cream if you like it. Preheat the oven to 375. Place the biscuits about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Let them sit for a few minutes because they've been in the fridge and this works best if the are not real cold. Next, flatten them down with your hands like a little pizza. Try to leave the sides a little higher so the topping wont run out. Now open the beans and push all the juice out. Spoon the beans evenly onto the biscuits. Next put a spoon of salsa and spread it out over the beans. Follow with some cheese.Puy these in the oven and bake for about 9 or 10 min. Watch the bottom to see when they are browned. These are good with sour cream on top. Hope you like!
I've been in your shoes and trust me it is alot easier than you think. I love my ';Fried'; chicken strips

Ingredients:

3 chicken breasts

1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese

1 tsp of pepper

1/2 tsp of garlic salt

Turn oven to 350 degrees. Slice the chicken breasts into strips. Take a gallon sized plastic bag and put the Parmesan cheese, pepper and garlic salt in the bag, mix them up in the bag. Take the chicken and put it in the bag. After each is coated put them on the tray and bake for 25 minutes.
first of all, how do you feel about tofu?

Personally, I love the stuff, and most of the things I eat include that.

Let me know if you like tofu, and I'll be back to edit and add some ideas.

answer my question
some good thing's you can do in that situation are meals with egg's as well as maby pancakes. or some grilled cheese. those are the most simple things i know

Grilled Cheese (you can have grilled cheese with tomato soup to make it excellent)

BLT sandwiches

French Toast

- for grilled cheese just toss butter on the back of a piece of bread (the side the will be touching the pan. pul cheese on that bread as well as tomato if you'd like. then you toss on the other half of bread and put it on the pan. as soon as you put it on the pan you butter the other side of the bread. wait until it starts to get dark or the cheese melts then flip it. do same with other side and voila you have a grilled cheese. For the tomato soup you just keep it in a pan cooking. Start it before the Grilled Cheese because even if it cooks fast you can just turn that baby on low and keep it at a nice eating temperature

BLT

Mayonnaise

Bread

Bacon

Lettuce

Tomato

(i like cheese and ketchup on my blt's sometimes but i'm weird. also with egg. i stole it off the movie spanglish. check special features)

cook bacon first. toast your bread. bacon should be somewhat crispy at least. or not undercooked if you can help it. or overcooked obviously. ya just toss your mayo or miracle whip on the toasted bread. and then with the lettuce. the tomato then finally the bacon. do both sides of bread with mayo if you like it. if not a fan then just do what you do with most ***t that requires mayo.

French Toast

Egg's and Toast

Milk

(top with a mixture of butter and sugar, or syrup)

beat together one egg per piece of bread you are using.

first. ready the pan. get it a good temperature because it's important the bread that's covered with egg doesn't touch a cold pan. it has to be ready to cook immediately

so beat toghether your egg's with milk in a cereal bowl. or anything like that. you don't need a lot of milk. just a touch. i'd say 1 oz per egg to be cooking book like. so say you wanted 3 pieces of french toast. so you have 3 eggs in a bowl and a hot pan on the stove. just toss in 3 oz of milk or whatever you feel is right (but you CAN'T overdo it on the milk). and then you beat the egg with the milk until it's one solid liquid. it's never gonna be perfect but you want the colour to be the same throughout the whole mixture. then dip one piece of bread at a time

just toss on a piece of plain bread then push it down with a fork so it obsorbes the egg. flip that b**ch over and push again. then toss er right on the pan

you'll know it's ready to be flipped by checking the side of it to make sure it's cooked. if it's ready to be flipped it will be brown. in most spots. there can be some eggy colour in there. (like a yellowish) but there will be brown and a good amount of it.

yadda yadda yadda

you get it all looking like french toast is suposed to look

and repeat the steps for the other bread

also you can cook more than one at a time. but for a rookie i would recomend 1 piece unless you have a big pan. hope i helped
