I have a one year old and sometimes my husband is working until 8pm so I need something that is not time consuming since I usually spend my evening entertaining my son.What are some good recipes that are fast and easy?
Here's a good healthy dinner ready in 15 minutes. Put on a pot of hot, salted water for 1 pound penne. Meanwhile, in a bowl of food processor or blender, combine 1 15 ounce can diced tomatoes (I used delmonte diced with garlic and onion) with juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, pinch of coarse black pepper, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 1/2 tsp each cumin and paprika, 1/4 tsp dried oregano. Process. Cook the pasta as directed. When the pasta was 2 minutes shy of being done, I threw in 1/2 pound medium frozen deveined shrimp. Drain the pasta, put it back in the pan and pour over the uncooked sauce. Makes about 4 servings and is absolutely delicious. You even have time to toss a salad for on the side.What are some good recipes that are fast and easy?
Bangers and Mash.
Grill some sausages until brown and at the same time peel potatoes.
Boil potatoes and steam some frozen minted peas.
Soften a sliced onion and add some stock and the sausages.
When potatoes are ready mash with some milk and butter and fold in the peas.
Serve the potato mash, sausages, onion and gravy and cover.
All hubby will have to do is nuke it when he gets home.
Spread out crescent roll dough, add a spoonful of taco meat and some shredded cheese, roll up crescent roll and cook in oven according to directions on package. A few minutes before it's done, sprinkle more shredded cheese on top of rolls. The kids will love it and so will you. Great finger food!!!!

toast the bread the apply butter
gently simmer beans in saucepan
serve and enjoy.
