What are some easy, nutrious, fun and fast recipes (snacks/meals) for kids? (5 and 2 years old)?

Spread a slice of WHOLE wheat bread with natural peanut butter. Roll the slice up, helly-roll, style. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into slices. T he kids will dig the spirals.

Make birds-in-a-nest for breakfast by using a cookie cutter to cut a whole in a slice of ww bread. Heat it in a skillet. Break one egg into the hole in the bread. Flip the bread slice when the egg is almost cooked. Then remove it from the skillet after a few seconds. What are some easy, nutrious, fun and fast recipes (snacks/meals) for kids? My childhood fave was ';Ants on a Log'; which was just peanut butter on celery with a row of marching ';ants'; in the form of raisins. Mmmm...
cheese strings, strawberries coated with crushed graham crackers shake in a baggie (kids can crush the crackers in the bag with a spoon), pretzels, yogurt covered pretzels, sesame seeds, mini muffins, veggies with dip, olives, pickles, pinwheel sandwiches (roll bread thin, cut off crust....bakery can slice it longways) spread with cream cheese, add olives, gerkins or cherries, roll and cut, or same thing with peanut butter and banana, mini pogos, build your own sandwich with cold meat, cheese, lettuce..whatever else you have to offer: they can make their own, omlettes, sesame sticks, bread sticks, marshmellows with prezels stuck in it for 'legs', pizza burgers....open face hamburger bun, with pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce, sliced pepperoni or ham, shredded cheese ( and anything else you have to add like peppers, mushrooms, etc.)yogurt or mini yoghurts, jello shapes in a mold, pudding, meatloaf made with onion soup mix, meatballs to eat with a toothpick (maybe for the 5 yr old only) or use raw spagettti noodles instead of toothpick, plain macaroni or other pasta noodles with butter and parmasean cheese sprinkles, look for a recipe for pizza muffins ( i have one but this is already long enuf...email me if you want the recipe) potato, bean,or cucumber salads, when we make homemade burgers we always make some little patties and cut the buns (or bread)with an upside down cup for the perfect size, devilled eggs

wow...I hope you get some ideas here. good luck
i loved potatoes ';pur猫'; (i don't know how to translate it, i'm italian *_*') when i was a child and i still love it. It's a dish with potatoes, parmigiano cheese and milk. to make you have to boil some peeled potatoes in salted water, then, when they're almost cooked (don't cook them completely) you mash them in the vegetable mill and put them in a pan. add some butter and cook them gradually adding milk and grated parmesan cheese. cook till it's smooth and soft. it's delicious and nutrious and perfect for children.

EDIT: since i usually cook it by eye (i should thank my granma for this recipe) and i don't know the doses (i use 2 water glass of milk and 1 of grated parmesan to cook it for, like, 4 people) i went to the kitchen and measured them XD so: for 4 people use 200 ml (about 3/4 cup) of parmesan cheese and 400 ml (about a cup and a half) of milk.

the result should be like this: http://www.bofrost.it/writable/prodotti/鈥?/a>

i couldn't find a better picture :(
I just found a couple that I love (as did my kids). Dust a bunch of grapes with a little cinnamon and dip in a combination of 1/2 c pbutter and 1 block lofat cream cheese. Also Fruit nachos are a great one. Toast tortillas cut in wedges in the oven until golden brown. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Top with strawberry cream cheese and chopped fresh fruit.
Crackers and cheese, pizza snacks, peanut butter on celery, cut thier sandwiches with cookie cutters, they love that......
one of my favorites as a kid was pizza bread just take a slice of bread spread tomato sauce ( or pizza or spagetti sauce ) on it put a slice of cheese and bake in 350 oven for 5 minutes
