make a really big lasagna. or baked ziti. that's what they serve at our catered luncheons. go to www.allrecipes.com and get a lasagna or baked ziti recipe (or buy 2 frozen ones (family size). put in disposable aluminum dish so you wont have a huge mess to clean up. buy a ton of precooked bread so you won't run out of pasta (they'll fill up on bread). make a huge salad.

Anything instant is good. Like instant rice, mashed potatoes, mac %26amp; cheese, then you can find other simple things to go with them. How about sometimes a make-your-own-sandwich dinner, with different sandwich meats and toppings for everyone to do to their liking, and serve with cut up fresh veggies? Or some kind of soup? Spaghetti is fairly easy and cheap. Hope this helps a little.

YOU CAN COOK A PASTA LASAGNA. JUST COOK SOME GROUND BEEF, AND A POT OF WHICH EVER PASTA NOODLES YOU WOULD PREFER. ONCE THOSE ARE COOKED TAKE A 2-3'; DEEP CASSEROLE DISH AND START WITH SOME PASTA ON THE BOTTOM. NEXT LAYER ON SOME CHEESE AND BEEF, REPEAT STEP AGAIN TOP OFF WITH LOTS OF CHEESE AND POP IN THE OVEN. SET THE OVEN AT 450 DEGREES AND LET COOK FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES. LET ME KNOW IF YOU TRY IT OUT sun_shine_2_sweetness@yahoo.ca
Use the amount of pasta you'd normally serve, add a pot (or more) of tomato and marscapone pesto, also add a generous amount of soured cream. Defrost ready sheeled prawns bung those in too... add some green beans or peas... bingo!

Make a simple pasta sauce (mince, passata, whatever vbegetables you have) serve with loads of salad and tortillas, also maybe some soured cream and guacamole (mushed avacado with some tomato, onion and lemon juice)

Home made pizza... make a basic pizza dough, add passata fro the tin, add cheese and whatever toppings...

The list is endless!

Red Beans and Rice

Chicken and dressing
Cola Chicken!

All it takes is one can of cola (I use diet) and 1 cup of ketchup. For 9 people, I would use 2 cans cola and 2 cups ketchup. Put the cola, ketchup and chicken in a ziploc bag and mush it all together. *lol* If you have time, you can let it marinate but if you don't you can just cook it like that too. Take it out of the plastic bag, put it in a baking dish and then bake for around 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked throughout. It's so wonderful and juicy! Everyone loves it, especially kids when you tell them that it was made with SODA!!
marinade thre whole chickens and place them in the oven for 45 mins, and make some red beand with rice and some salads youll be fine

www.meals.com is the site that I use. They have fast and easy recipes and even a search feature that lets you search for under 25 minute meals.
Enchiladas work. Get this, Hamburger meat as much as you want, corn or flour tortillas, velveta cheese, 1 can of green chili's, can of mushruum soup, and rice a beans. Don't forget seasoning of what ever you like with the meat.
Fried rice, Cook a ton of rice (not literelly 2000 #), then a bit of veggie oil, and literally fry the rice. Add some raw peppers, sauteed onions bits, a raw egg or two while frying everything up, and u gots urself a meal.
I'd make a big pot of pasta. Tomato sauce, add whatever veggies you have. Maybe make some veggie soup, too. That's a really cheap thing. it could be cooking while you make the pasta. Serve some bread - it's filling. Also, if you buy cheaper cuts of meat and cook them very slowly at a low temperature they can taste fantastic. I find it's a good idea to visit a market at the end of the day - the stallholders are usually pretty keen to let produce go very cheaply. Next time I'm cooking for three I'll think of you -it must be very hard work to always have to provide so much. Also, I'm wondering how old the children are - could they maybe help out with the cooking?
Well sorry for your codition. A good and fast recipe is cooking noodles.

It takes 2 mins and i think its quite affordable too. Best of luck!
go to http://www.nestlecaribbean.com if you have a computer with internet, if not macaroni and cheese with steam vegetables.
