Well, my husband is a hard working Marine and I am a hard working housewife, after chasing the recruits and chasing our ten month old the last thing we want to do is cook, but we do want to eat l.o.l. Please share with us your fast easy recipes (you know the kind with ingredients that I can purchase quickly or already have in the pantry- but no recipes for S.O.S)

This is my favorite fast recipe.... pulled chciken (like off a store bought rotisserie) mix in a bowl w/ a bag of shredded cheese (mixed, mexican, whatever), 1 container of light sour cream, and a can of diced chiles. Combine all ingredients, layer in a casserole inbetween flour torttillas that have been cut into wedges. Top of w/ extra cheese - bake...350 30-45min...serve w/ salsa, sauteed veggies, chips and dip....its really easy and really good.
What else? Homemade fajitas - always quick, easy and delicious.
Healthy Choice sausage tossed w/ a jambalaya or dirty rice mix - the one pot does all the work for you - thats a bonus.
Pasta tossed with peas (if you go canned - get Le Seur - they are the best and some prosiutto from the deli - all you do is cook the noodles - warm the peas thru and toss all together at the end - dont need to do anything to the meat. just pull apart and add in ----also , toss with olive oil and grated parmesean - its delicious.
Taco Pizza....store bought ready crust, without italian seasoning so no BOBOLI - ground turkey cooked w/ taco seasoing, put on crust with mexi blend cheese,,,onions peppers olves whatever you like...server with sour cream and salsa.

Toast some english muffins, spread sauce and cheese on them and bake them in the oven to get the cheese melted. Little pizzas.
For a healthy cake, cake mix and a can (12 ozs.) of diet soda.
Mix the two ingredients together and bake in the oven according to the directions on the cake box.
Use a dark soda with a dark cake mix or a light soda with a yellow or white cake mix. It is very moist and the whole cake is 35 Weight Watcher points.
Ice Cream Sandwiches - Spread Cool Whip on a Graham cracker, place another Graham Cracker over it, wrap it in plastic wrap and place in the freezer over night.
Freeze some grapes over night for a ';hard candy'; snack the next day.
Definitely try the cake recipe though. I did and it works very well. Just cake mix and diet soda is all you need.
I don't know if you have ever had green bean casserole but it's usually made with those crunchy onion things. The way I make it is with tater tots. Ingredients: apprx. 1lb ground beef, 1 can of french style green beens, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup (its better if the soup is the campbells brand), small bag of frozen tater tots....brown the beef, drain as best you can. Open and drain green beens. As for the soup you can either mix the green beens, ground beef, and the soup or just the green beens with the soup, either way it tastes the same. Pour mixture in casserole dish, arrange tater tots (one layer) evenly and bake as directed on bag of tots. i hope you like it.

Chicken Stir fry
Chicken Breasts
Green Peppers
Onion
Mushrooms
Knore Honey Mustard and the Creamy Mushroom sauce (chicken tonight sauces)
Olive oil
Boiled Rice
Cut Chicken Breasts in to thin slices and fry in Olive oil till all the slices turned white.
Chop up the Peppers,onion and mushrooms and fry with the chicken.
Add half of the honey mustard sauce and half of the Creamy mushroom sauce to the chicken
Let it simmer for about 10-20min
Serve with the boiled rice
Get yourself, Some thin cut boneless breast about 1/2 inch thick, some tortilla wraps lettuce cheese tomato and some ranch dressing. Bacon (optional)
Grill the chicken it takes about 2 minutes a side
slice up the meat and then slice your veggies up I buy the pre cooked Bacon it doesn't stink up your house, then heat the shells about 30 sec in micro wave put all the ingredients in and wrap it up.
Serve with some sweet corn or chips and salsa

INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 small onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
8 slices provolone cheese
salt to taste
seasoned salt to taste
1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
4 submarine rolls, halved
DIRECTIONS
Preheat an electric griddle or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. On one half of the griddle, place the mushrooms, onion and pepper. On the other side, place the roast beef. Cook and stir each group separately, chopping the beef into smaller pieces as it cooks, and seasoning with salt and seasoned salt.
When the vegetables are tender and the beef is hot, place the slices of provolone cheese over the beef to melt. Turn off the griddle. Scoop the cheesy grilled beef into sandwich rolls, and top with the onions and peppers.

Have a crock pot? Like Pork Chops?
We make this when we are camping and sometime when we have people over for dinner. A very busy mom gave me it.
Put porkchops, pork ribs (whatever is good and on sale) in the crockpot. Dump in 1 or 2 bottles of store brand BBQ sauce ($.99 each) and 1 cup to 2 cups of water. I perfer 1 cup. If you are making more than 4 servings - I'd opt for 2 bottles.
Cook on high for 4 hrs, then turn to low until your ready to serve. The juice is good on mashed potatos also!

I often cook these really simple easy chicken dishes,
Place however many thawed chicken breasts you want to cook in a pan in the oven at 350 degrees
cook for about 40-45 minutes, or until done
Meanwhile saute the veggies of your choice (onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and garlic) salt and pepper to taste, and add some oregano
In the last 10-15 minutes of the chicken cooking, pour the sauteed veggies over the chicken, then pour a can of tomato sauce over all of that.
About 5 minutes before that whole dish is done, you can sprinkle some cheese over it.
The whole dish is really good over rice. Minute rice always works well.
Another even easier chicken dish:
Again place however many thawed chicken breasts you wish to cook in a pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or until done.
Once the chicken is done, spread pesto over the top of the chicken and serve.
I usually saute some veggies to go with this dish.
place some fresh green beans, onion, and garlic in a pan. saute with some butter, pesto, salt, pepper, and any other spices you might want.
