You just can't beat a fried egg sandwich on Ezekiel bread with a slice of cheese and mayo! (be sure and blot the egg on paper towel) Do check out Ezekiel bread...its so nutritious, and will keep you feeling full for HOURS!Cheap, fast, simple yet delicious recipes for student?
One package Spanish Rice, one Polish Sauasage, one can diced tomatoes. One large non stick skillet. Cut sausage into chunks and fry for about five minutes in skillet on medium heat. Next follow directions on rice package and put into skillet. I always use Liptons in the bag, its the cheapest and I love the flavor. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil, cover and simmer. Depending on the brand of tomatoes you use you might have to adjust the water added to the rice. Some cans have more juice than others, so if you open it and it is full of juice, adjust the water to accomodate the tomatoe juice. This makes an excellent quick cheap dish, with great leftovers.
Another quick one. Italian Chicken Soup.
One pack of boneless skinless chicken breast. One white onion, chopped. Two medium zucchini sliced. Two medium carrots sliced. Two cans diced tomatoes in basil oregano and garlic (Delmonte brand I think) and two cans of chicken broth. Cut chicken into chunks and fry for about ten minutes in some olive oil in the bottom of your soup pot. Once cooked, add onion and cook for another five minutes. Add the rest of the stuff and bring to a small boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover and let cook for about 30 minutes. Another dinner that makes excellent left overs. Get a loaf of french bread, butter it and enjoy dipping. You can add some Italian seasoning if you like, or extra oregeno. My daughter loves this with Mozerella cheese on top.Cheap, fast, simple yet delicious recipes for student?

sautee ground beef and onion together. drain grease.

when beef is done, add can of soup, as is, do not add water to it. this is where i add the veggies. it just adds a little more flavor, but not necessary.
layer in cassarole dish meat, mac and cheese, meat, mac and cheese. i add layers of american cheese between and on top (again, not necessary)
bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
this feeds my family of 4 for less than ten dollars. you can actually eat this without the baking step, but the flavors blend with the baking process.
i also tried this recipe with campbells cream of mushroom with garlic soup as well. you can use any cream soup, however.
i have been eating this since i was a small child. it is great!

Parmesan Ramen
Ramen noodles. Cook in microwave then drain the water. Add 1 teaspoon - 1 1/2 tsp of butter and sprinkle parmesan cheese over it. Add pepper to your taste. You can also add left over bits/chunks of leftover chicken or ham in it.
As a side dish broccoli can be steamed in the bag in the microwave.
It's not mom's homecooking but works in a pinch and is cheap. My son often cooks this when he running toward the end of his allowance at college too.

Here's one called ';Cow Juice on Heavy Ice';. One hour before you mix the juice, get a glass and fill it with some ice cubes. Fast rinse the ice cubes in the cup, empty all water, then put in freezer for at least one hour to let the ice freeze to the bottom. When you are ready to make the drink, remove the frozen cup and ice, pour in half milk and half seven up. Serve with a smile and enjoy. If anybody ask why the ice doesn't float -- tell them you used heavy water in the ice cubes. Have fun at your next party.
