My husband calls these the cookies of the devil and the sauce can be used on many other things besides cookies like cake icing and pralines.

1 Cup Light Karo Syrup

1 Cup Sugar

about a tsp of vanilla

1 cup of Peanut Butter

About 6 cups of cornflakes if you have them (the cheap brand is great)

Put the corn syrup and sugar in a large pot and bring to a boil. Once it has hit a boil, remove from heat, add vanilla and peanut butter, stir well until the peanut butter is melted. Then add the cornflakes and spoon onto waxed paper to dry. Thankfully, this recipe is really easy to clean up after. Just wipe down the inside of the pot with a warm sponge and the mess comes off quickly with no scrubbing.

Like I said, you can use this recipe (minus cornflakes) for a lot of different things and you can add anything you like. I like to make pecan pralines with the peanut butter mixture as well or pour it over cakes instead of icing because it isn't really sweet.I need cookie recipes fast w/ limited supplies?
